Who this covers
RoofOS is the roofing operations software at Roofgent. A roofing company opens an account, and that company's staff use it to run jobs, estimates, invoices, and payments. This policy also covers an optional QuickBooks Online connection. It is not a construction contract between a contractor and a homeowner.

Information we collect
Account. Name, email, role, and a password stored as a hash. A phone number only if the company saves one.
Company and job records. Business name, customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, property addresses, notes, photos, estimates, invoices, and payments the company enters.
QuickBooks. When an owner connects QuickBooks Online, we store that company's QuickBooks id, sync status, and encrypted access and refresh tokens. We send sent invoices and logged payments. We do not send estimates.
Technical. IP address, browser type, and logs needed to run and secure the service. The application is hosted on Cloudflare in the United States.
SMS Communications
SMS Consent: We only send SMS messages to people who have explicitly consented to receive them. Consent is voluntary and not required for purchase or use of the services.
Message Types: Transactional SMS messages may include:
- • Appointment reminders and scheduling notifications
- • Estimate and proposal notifications
- • Project updates and status changes
- • Customer support communications
- • Account alerts and verification codes
Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or call (844) 867-2259.
Message Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with project activity.
How we use it
We use this information to operate the company's RoofOS account, show records to people that company has allowed, send messages the company asks us to send, and sync sent invoices and logged payments to the QuickBooks company the owner connected.
Who we share it with
People at the company, according to their role. A homeowner, partner, or vendor only when someone at the company shares a link, estimate, invoice, or message.
Intuit, only for a company that connects QuickBooks Online, and only so RoofOS can match or create a customer and create the invoice or payment in that company's QuickBooks account. Data stored in QuickBooks is also covered by Intuit's privacy policy.
Cloudflare, which hosts RoofOS. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep a company's records while that company uses RoofOS. Disconnecting QuickBooks in Settings deletes the stored QuickBooks tokens and stops new syncs. Records already created in QuickBooks stay in QuickBooks. A company can ask us to delete its RoofOS account by emailing support@roofgent.com.
Security
RoofOS is served over HTTPS. QuickBooks tokens are encrypted before they are stored. A person sees the jobs and tools their role allows.
Children
RoofOS is business software. It is not directed at children under 13.
